Dr. Prateek Varshney has a vast experience more than a decade in the field of oncology and surgical management of cancers. He is one of the leading senior surgical oncologists of Delhi/NCR. He is currently working as a Senior Consultant and Head of Surgical Oncology at Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi. He had his graduate, postgraduate and postdoctoral training from some of the leading medical colleges in India. He did his MBBS and MS General Surgery training at Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College and Hospital (JNMCH), Aligarh.
After that, He went for specialized surgical oncology training, MCH Surgical Oncology from Gujarat Cancer Research Institute, Ahmedabad which is one of the prestigious regional cancer centers in India. He has a keen interest in minimally invasive surgeries in form of either laparoscopic or Robotic Surgeries in the management of cancers. He is actively associated with different associations, and organizations involved in the field of oncology. He is widely experienced in open, Laparoscopic, and Robotic cancer surgeries. He has many scientific publications to his credit in the field of oncology.
